Buy a Brick - Build our Future
During the last allocations of Sports Capital Grants, Raheny United Football Club were awarded a grant to help fund a transformative renovation of our two-storey Clubhouse.
The planned renovations are extensive and while the Sports Capital Grant is of great financial assistance, it does not cover the full cost of the work. Additionally, significant inflation in the past two years has increased the building costs.
With this in mind, the Club is commencing a fundraising drive to raise the necessary funds beginning with our ‘Buy a Brick’ campaign.
What are our plans?
The ground floor of our Clubhouse currently consists of four changing rooms, one open plan shower block and a small Players’ Gym. While our Club Bar and function room, located on the first floor, is currently only accessible by stairs.
Our renovation plan would see the ground floor altered so that every changing room would have its own toilets and shower block, each with individual shower cubicles. This would allow us to simultaneously host two male teams and two female teams, if required.
The Girls’ section at the Club is growing year on year. We now have a Senior Women's team, eight underage girls’ teams and a Girls-only Youth Academy, as opposed to just five underage girls teams two years ago. Unfortunately, our current facilities are not suitable to cater for these teams.
These renovations will also see our Player's Gym upgraded and a meeting room installed, giving our teams an area they can use for their video analysis sessions.
The final major change will be the installation of a lift to the Clubhouse, allowing for improved accessibility to our bar and function room. The upgrades detailed above will also allow us to cater for players looking to take part in the ‘Football For All’ initiative which we hope to be involved in by late 2023.

What Types of Brick can I buy?
There are five options to choose from:

Memorial brick - €50 | 2 lines, maximum of 25 characters per line | Line 1: Message - Line 2: Name of departed

Family Brick - €150 | 2 lines, maximum of 25 characters per line | Line 1: Message - Line 2: Family Name

Corporate Brick - €500 | Name/Logo of Company

Corporate Bundle - €2,000 | 5 Grouped Bricks with Name/Logo of Company
Individual, family and memorial bricks will be located in the hallway of our changing rooms.
Corporate sponsors will have their own designated wall, at the top of the stairwell leading to the bar/function room.
