Due to a sudden and unexpected health scare, our Club Chairman, Olie Prunty, has recently had to step down as Chairman. Throughout his many years involved with our club Olie has proven himself time and time again as a true club man, that always went above and beyond for his players, teams, sections and club as a whole.
We as a club would like to wish Olie a full and speedy recovery and would like to thank him for all that he has done since he was voted in as our Chairman. The committee would also like to commend Olie on his tenure as Chairman, his voice and input will be sorely missed on the committee.
With Olie stepping down we turned to an ex longstanding committee member, Paul Nolan, who has agreed to come on board as our acting Chairman. Paul will remain our acting Chairman until we are able to hold our next AGM, when our full club members will vote for their next Chairperson and committee members.
We would like to thank Paul for agreeing to step up and be of service to our club once again.
