Condolences - Seamus Griffith

We were saddened to hear that Seamus Griffith passed away yesterday morning. Seamus will be remembered as the owner of Thrifty Supermarket on All Saints Park and as Chairman of Raheny Tidy Village. Over the years he was also a generous supporter to our football club.

Because of Covid 19 there is no church service - funeral will travel direct to cemetery.

As a tribute to Seamus and all his work for Raheny we suggest that people show their gratitude by standing along the footpaths (in a guard of honour style) observing 2 metre social distancing

At 11.15am on Saturday (April-18th) the funeral carriage will travel down All Saints Rd to All Saints Park where it will pause at Mace Supermarket (Formerly Seamus's Thrifty Supermarket). It will travel via Watermill Rd to Howth Rd(11.20/11.25am) and onward to Sutton cemetery via Blackbanks.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Griffith family.

Ar Dheis De go raibh a hanam.
