Today's statement from the NDSL (see our social media pages) is a reminder of not only the necessity of referees to our game but more importantly, that they are just human beings doing their job to the best of their ability.
It should never have come to this course of action, but now that t has, we must all remember that no referee means no game.
All of us at Raheny United would like to offer our wholehearted support to referees across the country and hope that the decision of NDSL referees to take a stand leads to a drastic improvement in the way they are treated every weekend.
